My research focuses on neuroimmunological mechanisms underlying neurodegenerative diseases, with particular emphasis on Parkinson’s disease, Multiple System Atrophy, and Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis. I am especially interested in how peripheral and central immune responses interact with pathological protein aggregation such as α synuclein and TDP 43 and how these processes contribute to disease initiation and progression. My work integrates human patient material, advanced immunological profiling, and translational biomarker approaches to identify disease relevant immune signatures and therapeutic targets.
